Cherí was born in Nebraska and grew up in Madison Wisconsin. She is the middle of three children. She was a preacher’s kid and still likes a good potluck dinner with the church ladies. Having a front row seat to witness her parent’s ministry, she learned a lot about how to care for others.
Cherí is a licensed marriage/family therapist with an emphasis in grief and loss counseling. She is a certified thanatologist (the study of death and dying) by the Association of Death Education and Counseling and is an ordained minister by the Fellowship of Christian Assemblies. She currently serves as Grief Services manager for Dane county’s largest hospice in Madison Wisconsin. Her past experience includes many years in pastoral ministry, and private practice as a therapist.
Cherí is married to Mitch, they have one son Derek. She enjoys laughing with friends, good food, good wine and getting up every morning to view the sunrise on beautiful Park Lake from her home in Pardeeville Wisconsin.
